Prison
This looks like an enclosure of sorts — that's why it's a prison. Imagine a tiny prisoner curled up inside, staring off into space, completely convinced they're trapped forever. Ironically this prison is actually wide open. They're just so consumed with self-pity that they haven't realized they've been free to leave all along.
